A 27-year-old hot tub suddenly quit. I mean, nothing happens! The topside controls are not lighting up, and nothing works. A troubleshooting call determined that the main circuit board was not feeding primary power to the transformer. Upon researching, we were unable to find an exact replacement board, so we suggested that the owner either purchase a new tub or replace all the controls. The price variation, along with a difficult tub location, led the owner to select to upgrade the controls. We selected new Balboa controls along with a new ozone generator, recirculation pump, heater, and topside control panel. The tub is now up and running better than ever!
